A WHITE refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had an Amana that served us very well for over 2 decades. We sought to replace it but could find no WHITE available in our city without a month or longer wait except the current model. We were pleased to get it at a modest price, but I wish it were a bit more like the one we had with the freezer at the bottom (with a light) rather than at the top without a light. We are adjusting but were warned it might serve for only 8-10 years. Long enough for us at age 85.

Good size for our space

Loud Compressor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator works, but the compressor is louder than expected. Rather than a relatively constant hum/buzz while running, it sounds like gears starting and stopping. It doesn't drown out other things, but it's around 55-60 decibels (the sound level of normal conversation) and since it jumps in and out it can affect conversation in the kitchen while it's running.
Overall, I guess it's fine but I wouldn't recommend it.
