Amana flat front no handle refrigerator

A new refridgerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With all the recent power outages in California during the last couple of months, my old fridge, that came with the house 7 years ago, just couldn't make it. So, this new Amana is great. It is a little smaller than the one that quit, but it is plenty big enough for the 2 of us. And, it did great with all the Thanksgiving extras like the turkey, pies, cheese platters, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator some months back.Ive had it long enough to know that I am extremely happy with it. My former fridge was a big side by side with water and ice in door. It was so deep I could hardly reach the back, and couldn't reach clear to the back when cleaning the top of it! An extension was needed. I do not have other people using it, opening and closing, so no need for water/ice outside door. The ice chute on the side by side was hard to keep clean and free of dusty, mildew looking stuff in the chute.
I LOVE the inset handles on the side of door of my Amana.No cleaning around a big handle! It's easy to clean, and seems to hold almost as much as the side by side because I had to set everything closer to the front on the old
one just to get to it. And I can easily reach all
parts to clean. After learning how to set the temp it is just right. My milk is COLD the way I like it and my veggies stay fresh in the crisper.I have an icemaker, works fine.
I am very happy with my purchase and the price was great.

Great value on sleek refrigerator

The interior stays so clean with the easy-wipe glass shelves and the door storage is amazing. I can fit almost as much in the door as the rest of the shelves. The top freezer is spacious and easy to use, but my FAVORITE feature is the indented door opening making it extremely easy to clean and giving it a very modern, updated look. My kitchen looks like it’s been remodeled. It is energy efficient and has plenty of room for all of our groceries.

Outstanding appliance

Good fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this fridge to replace our 30 year old one that finally gave out (they don't build them like they used to). Overall this is a basic fridge and is good. Freezer gets down to near 0 degrees Fahrenheit and fridge stays a chilly 34. Stainless gets smudged easily but cleans up easy too. Need to make the wheels adjustable so they don't have to be removed and the unit is easily moved if needed. And needs an LED light rather than incandescent. The last two are my only two reasons for four rather than five stars. Only issue I've encountered was with the add on ice maker that was installed by the dealer. They left out an important piece and within one day the freezer floor was a solid chunk of ice and the drain pan overflowed all over my kitchen floor. If this fridge lasts half as long as the one it replaced, I'll be thrilled.

What I really want to say is that I have an Amana chest freezer that I bought in 1962 that is still running perfectly with no service calls ever. IF this refrigerator does anywhere that well, it deserves the highest accolades.
