[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this freezer to go in our fifth-wheel camper to give us additional frozen food space. It works perfectly! The unit itself is lightweight and super quiet. I like the adjustable thermostat although we have not had to move it as it stays right around zero degrees. I also like the power indicator light and compressor on light. This is a very nice unit!

We recently purchased the Amana 5.3 cu. ft. compact freezer to replace a 1990 model 15.2 cu. ft. freezer. We are downsizing now that our family is grown and on their own. So far, I have been totally happy with the Amana freezer! It cooled down very quickly and compressor doesn't need to run very often to keep items frozen. It is very convenient to access items (even at the bottom where I "lost" things in the old freezer!) and easy to keep clean. This is a great freezer for anyone who does not need a LOT of extra space but more than what is available in the freezer with the fridge. Go Amana!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's not much to say about a small chest freezer. It's small and everything in it is frozen, which is just what we wanted. I'm wary because this is our second small chest freezer; the first broke just past warranty (we'd had it a little over a year). Getting it repaired would have cost twice as much as the freezer. It's taken me a couple of years to replace it because I didn't want that experience again. So, I don't feel like a review of this freezer, that I've only had for two weeks, is meaningful. I don't know if it's energy efficient and I don't know if it works great. I'll have a more confident opinion in 3 years, and perhaps a glowing review in ten years. This is not a negative review, it's an I-have-no-idea realistic review. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend; I would tell a friend to really shop around and buy the extended warranty.
