[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The basic unit fits in a tight space, is quiet and efficient and has an easy care finish. The stick handles are much appreciated as they don't show handprints from working in the kitchen. Good value overall.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had just finished updating our kitchen and were looking for a refrigerator to fit into the space built just for a refrigerator. The GE's dimensions were perfect and it had the features we wanted. It looks great and is performing beyond our expectations! The price is comparable to others, but the quality exceeds what would be expected for a refrigerator in the price range. A best buy for the money!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the adjustable glass shelves in the refrigerator, and the clear crispers and deli drawer. My old refrigerator had wire shelves, which I didn't like. It was definitely worth it to buy this refrigerator. Two things that I wished that were different - an adjustable wire shelf in the freezer, and numbers instead of the snowflake for changing the temperature setting.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PERFECT SIZE FOR OUR ENTERTAINMENT ROOM. PLENTY OF SHELF SPACE, ENERGY EFFICIENT, AND QUIET OPERATING. A GREAT VALUE. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS REFRIGERATOR TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A GREAT VALUE WITHOUT ALL THE UNNECESSARY BELLS AND WHISTLES. SIMPLE YET EFFICIENT.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It isn't as good at the 19 year old refrigerator that had separate controls but it is easier to find stuff in there. It makes noises but they are quiet and kind of funny. The only complaint is the vegetable drawers drag. Screechy and resistant. It's still OK though. It took some time to get the temperature right but now it works good. Also, the freezer door kept popping open when I closed the refrigerator door. I solved it when I made sure there was nothing pushing on the door. I had a basket that ever so lightly was against it. When I turned it sideways, BINGO! it doesn't open any more.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this refrigerator to replace one that was 38 years old. Didn't need anything fancy so this one just fit the bill. It has great features(I really like the see through shelves and drawers), is energy star rated and the price was great for all the features. Also, the size was just right to fit the space I had.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am coming from an old 14 QF refridgerator so this 18.1 seems big to me and that is just what we needed. It's the perfect size for a small family. So far it's been running great. I did hear other reviews about strange noises it makes every now and then and they said that was normal. I have to say, it's not that big of a deal, it's very quiet and unless you want complete silence without the slightest noise, then don't have anything with a motor running. My brother has a different brand fridge, brand new and it's twice as loud as this one. I like the clear shelves and drawers and the optional automatic ice maker is great. And the bottom line, this product was very affordable.
