Love the extra wide storage in the door for milk and juice. Like being able to easily adjust the shelves.

lots of space, good size and 50% quiet

I understand why some reviewers have complained about the noise but i believe that the fridge just makes the sound as if the system inside it is running.. it's a low-mid range humming noise.. It occurs every 15-20 minutes then quiet down completely in 15-20 minutes and the cycle reoccurs. It's not so much a big deal unless you sleep in the same room that the fridge is in.
Pros: lots of space, nice racks and storage bins, convenient, cools fast, as far as i know it's suppose to cost about $41 to operate this fridge per year so that's veru energy efficient (i think it should cost more but that's what the paper inside the fridge says and i hope it's correct)
Cons: haven't seen any problem yet.

Super loud noises, not worth the money

I bought this refrigerator about five months ago. It is so loud over and above the normal running noise. Houseguests have made comments that it sounds like it's about to blow up or that it's sending a loud morse code message. It's embarrassing. I wanted to return it from where I bought it, but there was a 10% restocking fee. So I'm very unhappily stuck with it. It's so loud I have to turn up the TV when it starts making noise. I would not recommend this model to anyone. I own many other GE appliances and thought GE was better than this.

This refrigerator is very, very noisy. I have only had this refrigerator for about 2 months and the refrigerator handle broke off. Now, GE replaced it at no cost, but I expected better from GE because they are declared one of the top appliance companies around.

my new GE refrigerator works really good. It is quiet when running and cooled off very fast when first installed. for a small refrigerator, it has plenty of space for storing goods.

Freezer problems

I bought this refrigerator a couple months ago and I have been having problems with the freezer ever since . At first it did not freeze products I put in the freezer.
Then it froze them so I thought all was ok only to find out the products froze then thawed then froze again.

Good enough

I got this 2 months ago . The look of the appliance is great. It is also very roomy for our perishables, veggies, and dairy products. The only thing I don't like is the noise it makes. A loud sound that keeps for too long and its annoying. Other than that it helps to save energy thus money when it comes to my electric bill.
