Previous (37 year old GE) was quieter. It was still working when I purchased my NEW GE.

The refrigerator door broke off within two months. The freezer broke off two months after that. It runs extremely loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this item a year ago and am very happy with it. The glass shelves are adjustable and the humidity containers are a great feature. There is plenty of room in the freezer.

I bought this fridge a year ago, and I'm very happy with my purchase! It's a basic fridge, but it looks really nice inside, and it defrosts itself which is awesome. At first, I did get weirded out that the fridge felt a little warm at times, but I looked into it and saw that it has a defrost feature. I bought a little fridge thermometer so now I can see when it's defrosting. I have no complaints!

I've had it for almost a year and the noise still drives me crazy and the door squeaks when it's opened and closed.
