Bought as a second refrigerator at the basement. Above normal humming noise and screeching bottom drawers. Good performance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Although I am a new owner of this appliance, I am pleased to say it has exceeded my expectations. The refrigerator is well layed out for space, shelves and vegetable and fruit drawers. The freezer space works well for all kinds of packaging. Easy to set temperature. Overall a very good buy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this about month ago. I wish I had kept my old one! This thing sounds like a growling dog! Some of our friends even asked if we had a new dog in the house!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Pleased

I bought this frig to replace the extra frig that I keep in the basement which was also a GE, so all I was looking for was something very basic. What I got was even better than I expected. Glass shelves was a nice upgrade from my old frig. I am not finding my unit to be noisy AT ALL. Unlike how some of the other reviewers have complained about that problem. Very satisfied and very pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice but Noisy

Refrigerator has a quality finish, nice handles, great shelving. The finish gives the appearance of durability and will be easy to clean. The cooling cycle does run long, and it is significantly louder than its replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet, except bottom drawers

My last refrigerator was wider, and made strange noises all the time, even when brand new. It was not a GE. This one is taller and narrower, yet seems to house more, more efficiently, and runs quietly. My only complaint after owning it 1 month is that the bottom bin drawers scrape and make a horrible screeching noise when opened and closed.
I would recommend this to a friend!
