door squeaks and handle broke

The fridge it replaced worked well for over 15 years. This one has a door that squeaks and a handle that snapped off. We have a house hold maintenance policy so we are getting it fixed.
not real thrilled.

makes funny noises that don't sound right :(

This refrigerator has always made very strange noises, that don't sound at all like any refrigerator I have ever had. I don't like it. I didn't buy an extended warranty because I figure a product should be good enough to last 20 years!!!!! I'm very afraid that something will go wrong, because of the strange noises, and I will have to pay for a repair or even replace it altogether. I have had it one year :(Also, the shelves in the door have spaces in the front of them, and small items fall through onto the floor :(

I bought this refrigerator about 4 months ago and it our performs my expectations! I also bought an ice maker accessory and found it very easy to install myself.

I had previously stated that I didn't think this model was Energy Star Certified.
I WAS WRONG.....IT IS WHICH MAKES IT AN EVEN BETTER BUY.

Great for the money!

I've had this for almost a year now and am so glad I found it. We needed something relatively inexpensive that did the basic job of keeping food cold for the two of us as well as having enough space for the occasional dinner parties and pot lucks. It does the job well. The three drawers keep meat fruits and vegetables just right. The door shelves are large enough for the milk containers I buy and there are enough of them to hold most bottles and jars of stuff I need to keep cold. The freezer works well, and it holds enough for my purposes and more. The only things I miss are a tall enough shelf on the door to keep a bottle of wine and more shelves so when I have parties I don't have so many layers of stuff on each shelf. It still works but I'm a neatnik I guess.
