Mine is brand new but so far I love all the space it has,great choices on shelf levels.It as also an excellent price...i love it..

Just an "OK" fridge

In Apri 2014 I received this fridge as a gift from my mom, and as soon as it got cold, it started to condensate and leak inside the fridge a great deal. We had a technician come over and it turned out that it was missing a special 'tray' (not sure what is the right term for it) that prevents condensation and leaking. Also, after several months of use, the two veggie draws "squeak" really loud every time you open/clos them. This is very annoying for everyone that hears that lod squeak. I am also a bit disappointed that this fridge lacks some important features, for instance, no tray for the eggs, and only two small compartment on the door. I doubt that I would buy this model again or recommend it to anyone. GE can do much better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Although this refrigerator does the job it was made to do, I must say that the whistling and other strange sounds that comes from it bothers me.

Got this fridge over a month ago and it really is an energy saver. Electricity bill is lower than usual in the summer months!!

My old fridge stopped working a week ago and GE sent me a new one almost as soon as I hung up the phone. It was really fast. I live alone so I don't need a lot of fridge space . This model is perfect and the minute I plugged it in it was cold. Where I live, during the summer months, it's at least 100 degrees everyday. No Problem for this model . All my water bottles, soda ,and beer are Ice cold at a normal setting. and I know because it's GE, it will be around for a long time...Thanks GE...captphrank
