It is a basic refrigerator, made largely with brittle plastics that have been poorly designed for use. My concern is that it is not difficult to design for use and this unit clearly got the cheap version of manufacturing and planning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been very happy with it. Can't believe that the previous page said you were not making it any more. Guess I got it just in time. I'm sure there is a market for a smaller refrigerator and the GE had much better features than the several other models I looked at. You should not discontinue it.
