This has been the best decision. There is more room than exected in fridge & freezer. Wife loves the pull-out shelves ( can see all & reach items in back. Ice maker is "the bomb", crush & cube easy access, nightlite on outside dispencer, like the wide shelves on door ( gal. milk X2) & can shelf (soda or?). The finish (black) is pefect, easy to keep clean & looks great with rest of appliances.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Fridge once you get past the intial break in

Within 90 days the ice machine malfuntioned, spewed a lot of water all over the floor and damaged it while away on a holiday weekend. GE did step up to make the issue right and fxed the fridge and paid to fix the floor but I was out my time to do all the leg work to resolve the problem(s). Many hours of my time went uncompensated. Fridge works fine now.(for now) Who knows how this would have played out past the one year initial warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just took delivery of this refridgerator. It's the third GE refridgerator I have owned in my lifetime and so far I love this brand. It has been reliable and long lasting and I hope this one continues to please.

I purchase this product about 3 months ago I expected a better product, the icemaker dose not chop up all the ice, the water from the water dispenser does not come out cool it comes out room temperature.
I would recommend this to a friend!
