OK Refrigerator

A repair person came on two occasions to address an issue with the refrigerator door. When the door was opened it would go beyond the normal "stop" and bang into the counter. A part was ordered to address the problem. A repair person come out twice to address a problem with low amount of ice cubes being produced. The head of the service department finally agreed to order a new ice maker which solved the problem.
The freezer side of refrigerator is fine. The refrigerator side's light needs to be moved and minimized due to it's size & location. It's size & location reduces the space to put tall items on the top shelf. The shelves need to have the edging reduced to allow more items to fit on the shelves.

Refrigerator is great

So happy with this refrigerator. Love the color and the size for our kitchen. Love the icemaker with light feature. Space is great in both freezer and refrigerator.

I have had the fridge for going on 3 months and it is worked fine. There is always ice when I need it and the water comes out cold and filtered. Occassionally it runs a little loud but quiets down pretty quick. I have all GE appliances and the fridge was a wonderful, reliable addition to my kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The freezer handle does not stay on. The flow of the water dispenser is extremely slow.

Not what I expected from GE.

I bought this in June 2013 and this unit is not as solidly built nor has as much internal space as previous GE unit which was one cubic smaller. The external size of the unit is much larger and it is much noisier. The water valves for dispensing water have failed and had to be replaced under warranty. The ice dispenser does not work very well. This is our fifth GE refrigerator and will probably be our last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Super Spacious!

I purchased this about three months ago, and I love it! The storage space is awsome. With so many shelves and bins, trying to find room to for leftovers is not a promblem. I also like the fact that it's easy to clean and maintain. The slide out shelves makes those little hard to reach spills easy to get to. Overall, I am very satisfied.
