First side by side fridge

This is our first side by side fridge and still getting used to it. We previously had a fridge with french doors on top and the freezer drawer on bottom. We like the large shelves in the doors, and you really need them to store large bottles because there looks to be not be enough room on the main shelves.The ice maker takes up a lot of room in the freezer, but hopefully once we hook up water lines and can use it, we will appreciate it.

Great price. I have owned this GE for over a year now and have been pleased with the space, illumination and its fairly quiet. Love the filtration system, the water and ice taste great.

I bought this refrigerator last week. I was a little concerned that it would not hold as much as I needed. I was happily surprised that everything that fit in my old refrigerator, fit in the new one. It's bigger than it looks!

Wish as I might, I just could not afford all the bells and whistles when my 15 year old refrigerator gasped the last breath. Not time for french doors now. I am pleased with the amount of fruit and veggie storage, but what really excites me is how much longer my produce is lasting. A new refrigerator has made a huge difference.

I have had this installed for a week and I love everything about it. It is so nice to finally have an ice makers and it holds a ton of ice. You will have plenty to have a party ect. Overall we love it.

BETTER THAN MOST

I should have done a bit more research but figured that it was a fridge, big deal. It seems smaller than the one we had previously despite the cu being reported as larger. It's noisy - sometimes I think there's noise outside only to discover it's our fridge. We had some difficulty setting the temps so that food in the fridge wasn't freezing. But all in all, it's a good, solid fridge. GE has a great reputation and we've had GE appliances in the past that lasted for years. In fact, our prev fridge was a GE and it was 20 yrs old! The only reason we replaced it was bc we were replacing other appliances! It still worked!

Installed 10/31/13, shipper accidentally damaged door hinge, Contacted GE they had serviced in several days. Also, like interior and exterior design, works great for me.
