We bought this for our kitchen remodel. It is the first fridge with water and ice in the door for us and that has been a great feature. We are very happy with the side by side model. It is roomy and keeps things fresh.

We recently bought this refrigerator, along with a complete GE package for a kitchen remodel. Had a side-by-side (GE) before this. Amazing how much roomier this one feels, and it even has the dual ice maker. Sleek and beautiful.

Quick cool down!

Our old fridge (also a GE..15yrs old!) died on the day of our big Christmas party. The next day we bought the new GE side-by-side. The controls are easy to understand and use; the quick cool down saved us a ton of money...we lost almost nothing in "the big thaw"! Thanks GE!

This unit looks nice but the motor is very loud compared to my previous brand. The drawers are hard to slide in. The freezer door sometimes doesn't close completely (alarm never goes off) and hours later you have a freezer full of frost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had this for 6 months now. Very easy to clean, quite and has alot of nice features. Love how all the shelves move helps keep everything well organized.
