[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] only downside i see is that the freezer and fridg sides do not have enough shelves.. should have come with one more for each side

Positively, an appliance we have been desiring for so long and this refridgerator with all easy to use features is the feature attraction in our kitchen. Family, friends and me, the loving husband adore the beauty,feasibility and marketability woven in this fine product by GE. Buy it and your wife will do the dishes once a week and you will do the other 6 days just to see her happier.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice looking refrigerator

Bought this on April 30, 2014 and had speedy delivery from Factory Direct on May 5, 2014. The light didn't work today (April 3, 2014) and there might be some packing material leftt behind the second drawer. I will call on Monday and ask the sales person who sold it to be, she was very nice.

Falling Handle

Refrigerator makes lots of weird noises randomly. Also, freezer handle is constantly coming loose. I tighten the screw and within a day or so it's loose again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

▪ Is a fridge so keeps stuff cold
▪side by side
▪temperature control
Cons:
▪Shelves break easily (the tracks)
▪control panel stopped lighting up after 6 months
▪ice maker is useless unless you only use it 1 time a day
▪freezer shelves were a tiny bit short so fall easily out of its slot.
We chose this fridge because we love GE and have never had a problem before but sorry this one is definitely not one of their best but we will try again when this one dies completely.

Nice aesthetic and plenty space

The only drawback I have seen thus far is that ice maker is prone to issues. Mostly quick fixes, but currently dealing with a water volume/metering issue, when water pressure adequate for good flow from dispenser, it’s too high for ice maker (causes overflow of ice tray). When water pressure turned down for ice maker to work, the dispenser flow is marginal, at best. Suspect metering solenoid for ice maker.
I would recommend this to a friend!
