I have had this for about 5 months now, and everything seems to work well. I like the reminder beep when the door is open for too long, and my little one loves to shut the door for me. The space is good for one or two weeks' storage of food. I love GE so I think this is a great purchase.

I'm very happy with this refrig. I especially like the fact that the water and ice are filtered. My complaints are that some of the crushed ice sprays out first when I fill a glass with ice cubes and also into the glass before the cubes come out. So I hold a towel in front of the glass when I fill it with ice and dump the crushed ice and then fill the glass with cubes.

Unfortunately needed servicing a couple of times within 12 months. Still have issues with sweating, an indication to me that it's not properly sealed. The motor is not the quietest . Since fridge is against a wall, access to the icemaker can be a bit of a production but unit is on wheels and is easy to move. Love the stainless steel
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
