Poor coating quality

We purchased our gas stove because we liked the griddle. This is the first time we have had a griddle. The coating started coming off even after following the cleaning instruction.

Poor quality

This came with the stove in my new house (Dec 2020) however I will not be replacing in kind since the quality of this is not very good. It is made of aluminum which is lighter than other products but the coating will not last very long even if the care directions are followed. Recommend only hand washing once or twice a month with a sponge an non-abrasive sponge. Outside of that you should just wipe with a wet paper towel and even then it will only last a couple of months before the bare aluminum will start to show.

Griddle peeling!

Not a quality griddle at all! I expected better from Kitchen Aid! Our griddle is peeled. Is there a replacement one that fits that is cast iron? A

5 months old and griddle peeled showing aluminum beneath. Very poor quality for this range.

Not good quality

I thought we had done something wrong because all the surface looked worn even though it’s not very old. I wish I had read these reviews. I’m hoping kitchen aid replaces this inferior quality grill with a better product and sends it to its customers. I live this double stove configuration . I have had three over the last 30 years . I don’t recall having issues with the griddle . It might have been Maytag . Anyway I hope this gets improved.
