I have somewhat of a thick beard, not huge but still pretty thick. I was sent this trimmer to test and found it overall to be great at little detail trimming but struggled in the larger grooming. The trimming around my mustache and edge of the beard were key so if you have more of a 5 o'clock shadow that you rock this is the trimmer for you.
Had to turn on & off several times before it turned on. One day it got red hot--I threw it outside before it blew up--it didn't.
Pros: liked desihgn
Cons: dangerous

Small But Effective

I received a free sample of this trimmer and found it to be very useful for those small, detailed areas. I shave at least 3-4 times per week with a disposable razor and the Phillips Norelco Detail Trimmer Series 1000 works perfect for those smaller areas, such as around the nose, ears and especially for shaping my facial hair.

good little trimmer

I did receive this trimmer as a free sample, and have to say, I was glad I did. It was a perfect little trimmer that reached all parts of my face and neck. I used it mostly on the back of my neck (where I could reach) and then to trim my temples and sideburns. Really good, clean trim. Longer hairs did give a little trouble but thats par for the course. The flexible head was helpful and it was a compact device.
