Best Nose/Ear Trimmer

This little Norelco trimmer is lightweight and flexible. It is THE BEST nose trimmer and ear trimmer I have found!
Pros: trims close great for nose trim and ear
Cons: can disengage the head read instructions
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy and Functional

I was sent this trimmer to try out and it's a pretty decent product. I have a pretty good sized beard and I trim regularly for my professional job. I really liked the pivot feature that allows you to get a better angle for below the nose and cheeks. It's also very easy to clean and the rubber body is easy to hold.
Overall, I liked the product but I think the blades could be a little sharper. I felt like I was going over the areas too much and wasn't really getting down to the skin with the trim.
Pros: the pivot head, rubber body, easy to clean
Cons: blades are not that sharp

Mini Beard Trimmer

I received this product in exchange for my review. I actually thought that the trimmer would be bigger. It works. The problem I had with this was trying to hold in my hands. Which made me have to hold the trimmer steady so I would not have to mess up my shave. It cuts well and the guards give you a precise cut. I also wish that the trimmer was not battery operated but had a charger for it. Not a bad product could use some improvements though.
Pros: very detailed trimmer
Cons: too small for hands

I am satisfied with this product for what it is worth; it sure does trim beard nicely, especially for someone who does not have a thick full-grown beard, but patchy beard instead, such as myself. My favorite thing about this trimmer is the size - it is slim an compact like a woman`s mascara, and pretty silent while in the on-mode. I have used it for almost two weeks and I haven`t notice an change in the performance or battery life. I am positive that this product will last me a couple years at least. The product meets my expectations, but I am only qualified to speak for myself; I am not sure how well it would work for a man with thicker or ethnic hair. Given the fact that i have only used it for 2 weeks, I cannot judge the quality or sharpness of the blades, nor I have any idea how I would have them sharpened, if needed. The product is not expensive so I don`t know if it would be worth it to have someone paid to sharpen it professionally. There isn`t anything much to improve, perhaps install a small LED light to shine on the area of the skin that you`re trimming, but that would be nit-picking. I also have a larger beard trimmer which is more powerful but also very large. It does more than this device but for a person who is more concerned with travel/baggage space, this would be an ideal item to have for business trips or journeys to places where there is not electric plug, since this is battery powered.
Pros: size, design, noise
Cons: power, sharpness

I have used the Norelco Detail Trimmer 1000 for over a week now and i do have to say i love this trimmer i have used it on my nose neck and ears
