[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit has some nice features like remembering where you left off on a disk no longer in the player, but the unit worked nicely only for about two months. A strange fluttering sound came out, as if having difficulty reading disks. The issue was intermittent, so we let it ride. Within about six months video and sound were being affected, prompting a return of the unit for servicing. We are thankful LG has a year-long warranty.
Pros: ease of use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We were looking for a good utility DVD to play the disk - We have other souses for streaming so do not care about the feature - it did take some time to wire to Ethernet, but that should help with upgrades, but do not understand why it does not appear on the Netgear genie network map.
