Worked good for 2 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Christmas gift for my son, he has used it off and on for 2-3months. now remote only has about 3 buttons that work even though it has been kept out of reach. The light on front of player lights up when bittons touched but it is unusable now. Cannot even get play button to work. Buttons on player work to open disc but power button will not work. Had to unplug to shut off. Will not buy again

Not only did i buy a standard blu ray dvd but i also but the 4k capable blu ray dvd player. The products work so smoothly and LG makes the cleanest technology and offers the best quality for affordable prices. Thanks LG movi nights are amazing because of you !!

Freezes up when playing any premium app.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Anytime I try to use any of the premium apps they freeze. It will not play longer than a minute on Hulu or Netflix. I bought this Blu-ray player because I had a model that was made by LG that had basically the same set up but the only premium app offered was Netflix and it was great never had a problem. I bought this one about three days ago figured it was something to do with my Internet connection but it’s not it is the actual device itself anytime I try to use any of the premium apps they freeze. It will not play longer than a minute on Hulu or Netflix. I bought this Blu-ray player because I had a model that was made by LG that had basically the same set up but the only premium app it offered was Netflix and it was great never had a problem. I bought this one about three days ago figured it was something to do with my Internet connection but it’s not it is the actual device itself . This was a complete and total waste of money, I will be taking this device back in exchanging it for a different type of Blu-ray player it will stream Hulu and Netflix. Do not buy this piece of junk

Barely works and barely responds to the remote. Anytime we try to watch Netflix it stops working. This is the most wasted 80$ I’ve ever spent.

Poor streaming performance

I have had this player for a couple months now. For the first month everything worked fine. Now whenever I play a streaming player such as Netflix, VuDu or YouTube, video starts and stops, it locks up at times either not responding to the remote or won't turn off when pressing the power button. Sometimes I have to unplug it to turn it off. I reset to the factory default settings twice already and then set it up again. This works for a few hours and then the troubles start again. I'm skipping any LG product purchase in the future.

Gift for my birthday thought was wireless but plugged ethernet cable to router and YouTube freezes so I stopped to download Netflix. DVD works ok . But limited to connect to home theater. Bought audio USB to RCA to get sound off but did not work. If it was 50.00 usd worth .
