Self-Clean Cycle Blows Fuse

I bought this double oven in August 2018. The top oven stopped working in the fall of 2019. After the repairman replaced the fuse he said "don't use the self-clean cycle." WOW. Okay, now that's a bummer. The high heat burns out the fuse !!!
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Self cleaning does not work. The worst oven to cle

Love the functions and performance, concerned about long term reliability. Since purchasing, 2 control boards have been replaced and short charred a wire that needed to be replaced. Long lead time for parts left us with no ovens for extended periods. In fairness, LG's customer service has been responsive and helpful, covering replacements outside of warranty. They rely on 3rd party service companies for doing work and while they also have done a good job on repairs, they are at the mercy of LG for getting replacement parts. If we did not have the reliability issues, this would be a glowing review of the features and design of the product.

Self cleaning KILLED it.

Enjoyed this product for a few years using the self-cleaning sparingly, maybe 4 times in 3 years. Went to use it again and the oven completely died midway through the cycle. After multiple hundreds of dollars in service fees and parts, still no working oven. Needless to say, we reached the money threshold and purchased a new oven. My other LG kitchen appliances purchased at the same time are still working great, just why have self-cleaning if it's so bad for it????
