The knobs will fail

I love everything about this double oven, except the knobs. Both temperature adjusting knobs have failed. I did contact LG and they are sending replacements, which is great...assuming the design has been updated. Do an internet search for LG knobs and you'll learn that multiple models (usually upscale stainless steel) models have similar issues.
I'm happy to be getting new knobs, but I'm expecting similar failures every year or so for the life of the oven. I would not buy this model again. It is beautiful, but having to use pliers to change the oven temperature while waiting for new knobs is super annoying for the amount we paid for this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven is gorgeous! I love the bright blue interior and the smooth moving racks. This oven alerts you to when the temperature you've chosen has been reached with a pleasant chime. It's easy to clean and cooks like a dream. My only hesitation for rating this a four and not a five star is the lack of backlighting on the setting display panel.

Error F-9

I have my oven for 15 months I haven’t been used so much and if I did I use both bottom and top so the top one maybe was used 20 times max and it’s broken already it shows error F9 which means it’s not heating!!! Unfortunately I didn’t buy extended warranty so now I have to fix it on my own very disappointing

To clear the error code: Press the Clear/OFF key and try the function again. If the error appears again, turn the circuit breaker to the unit off and wait 30 seconds before turning it on again. Only way to make it better be able to use one oven while the other is in Self-Clean mode.

I bake daily in it, heats up quickly, maintains necessary temperatures. The only improvement could be to be able to use 1 oven for baking while the other is in self clean mode.

This is my first double oven and would never go back to a single oven again. And this oven maintains an even temperature and cooks evenly. I love using the temperature probe when cooking meats to that perfect temperature.
