Every thing works great, but the imprint for the graduations for the burner knobs, that of the 'utlralheat" has started to wear off and the center burner tarnished.
Pros: Style/Design

Great looking cooktop with knobs that light up

My wife and I recently updated all of our kitchen appliances to include the cooktop. While shopping for a cooktop we want it top-of-the-line stainless that had an indicator or when the gas was on. We found this LG and immediately liked it we like that when the knob was turned on to start the burner it lights up and stays lit while the burner is on. Excellent safety feature that we both enjoy. It also looks very nice and came with a little griddle that we like.

Knobs cracked, breaking

however ...
similar to other reviewers the knobs are horrible, just recently had 2 break, checked the remaining three and all are cracked and I expect they will fail in the near future. To replace all 5 knobs would be 1/3 the cost of the new cooktop. I expect higher quality from LG. Hard to use the cooktop, no matter how wonderful, if you can't turn the burner on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having moved two years ago to our current home, we are very pleased that we selected the LG gas cooktop when we remodeled our kitchen last month. The five burners provide great flexibility for different cooking needs and the lighted control knobs ensure we always know when a burner is on. The cooktop's heavy duty, continuous grates means no need to lift heavy pans when moving from one burner to another. The cooktop is easy to clean and the grates are dishwasher safe. All this and it looks very nice with our new granite.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I picked up this unit right before Thanksgiving and I'm so glad I did. The 5 burners came in quite handy and have the center unit be as strong as it is was Eleven better. That center burner made certain dishes easier and faster to cook. The led lights under the knobs were also useful in knowing what burners were on and adds a nice touch to the look of it. Only thing I wish was that the lights would be a different color for lower tempatures and if it had WiFi like the ovens I have. Otherwise it's an amazing unit and I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very displeased with this gas range. I used it only for the 2nd time since it was installed and cooked some chicken in a little bit of olive oil. The oil splattered a little and landed on the 4 other burners that were not being used. The oil discolored the caps and heads and now I cannot get them clean. I soaked them in hot soapy water overnight, like LG suggested, and they never came clean. Very bad design and the metal that was used to make them should be changed to something that does not stain.

Our new stovetop will be installed next week and I’m beyond excited! It’s a beautiful cooktop, which includes a griddle, and I can’t wait to begin using it. We’re in the middle of a kitchen remodel, including gas installation. I’ve used gas cooktops in the past and it’s the only way to go!
