too loud

i have had this for 3 months and i am not impressed. It is loud and if you don't use jet dry it never dries!!! Also it has a weird smell to it like it is molding even though I run it at least once and usually twice a week
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love My New Whirlpool

This machine is great! It replaced a ten year old dishwasher who's main pump broke.I looked at a lot of dishwashers when shopping and it came down to this machine vs. another brand. I chose this Whirlpool model because it was loaded with features and was a reasonable price. It was hundreds of dollars less than the other brand--a good value.I always use a rinse-aid and my dishes always come out clean and sparkly. I do, however always rinse my dishes, and I always use the Sani-rinse option and heated dry.I like the slots for wine glasses that fold down; I put nice crystal glasses in this machine with no problems. I also like the clips for light items. One of the best features of all is the fact that you can move the silverware basket around and put it in the front or rear of the bottom rack (if you don't want to leave it on the door).This dishwasher is so much quieter than the one it replaced!I purchased the "Ice Collection" model; it was a better match to my existing kitchen appliances and looks cool.

Very impresive product

We replaced our 17 year old dishwasher, which was also a whirpool. What a difference! We use our smoker for cooking quite often. We always used S O S pads to clean the grills and water pan. We decided to give the new dishwasher the test. The items were cleaned spotless. The other amazing feature is noise. We would only start our old dishwasher if we were leaving or going to bed because of the noise. I often have to ask if this new dishwasher is running because you can't hear it. Great job Whirlpool.

My new Whirlpool dishwasher is really wonderful. The washing options are varied, the appliance performance has been outstanding so far, and the exterior look is sleek and easy to keep clean. It is exceptionally quiet. The only drawback I have found is that the silverware holder is not very easy to work with, and my wide-handled silverware don't fit well into the holder.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Outstanding cleaning!

This dishwasher does an outstanding job of washing the dishes. The glasses sparkle and the residue that was on the bottoms from the old dishwasher is gone.There are very few dishes that don't come clean without a pre-rinse.It is very quite, hardly know that it is running.The are two slight negatives to this dishwasher.1. The design of the bottom rack is not conducive to putting in larger bowls or pots.2. Most of the slots on the silverware holder are too small to hold our silverware, and the detergent cup interferes with some of them.

Whirlpool Gold? Series Dishwasher with PowerScour? Option

The first time we turned it on to wash dishes we thought it was not working because we could not hear it. I swear the sound is so quiet that you hardly know it is running. LOVE this. It has a powerscour feature that will clean hard to clean items and works great.

I had no idea how quiet a dishwasher could be! My old one could be heard throughout the house. I also realized my old model was not getting things as clean. Everything is spotless now thanks to my new Whirlpool. I LOVE it!
