Quiet when running and cleans well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This looks very beautiful for a white dishwasher with the snow and ice series and the beautiful handle. I am not used to having my silverware in the door, but it does give more plate room. A dishwasher is such an important item for me in the kitchen and this one has a totally different arrangement so I am getting used to it, I can't say an immediate that I love the twains yet, I am still learning how to move them to best hold my plates.

Not enjoying whirlpool appliances

We bought all new appliances when we moved to our new house 4 years ago. We have had numerous repairs to our refrigerator (15ish) and now we are replacing our dishwasher. We didn't think we would need the extended warranty on it. We were wrong! It had a leak from the underside and after we thought we fixed it we apparently didn't and it leaked again and warped our wood floors. We were without s dishwasher for 3 weeks while trying to figure out what to do. Why don't they make good working appliances like they used to?

What a piece of junk.....

We have owned this junk heap for just over 3 1/2 years. In that time I have had to replace the motor/pump assembly, tray wheels, and door seals. The leaking door seals ending up making it rain in our basement. Since I have some mechanical abilities and the proper tools, my repair costs were just parts. If I couldn't repair it myself, I am sure the repair bills would have easily been more than what the machine cost. As for cleaning: I had to clean out the filter and traps every third wash. And no, we scrap every dish that went into it before washing. Usually, 2-3 items had to be hand washed or ran through a second wash to clean them. The soap dispenser door never seemed to work right. The inside of the washer was constantly dirty. It couldn't even keep itself clean. The machine also never completely drained. There were always about 2 cups of dirty water in the bottom of it. And it stank if we din't open the door to let it air out. What finally made me get rid of it is that it started leaking water again and I was through dealing with it. Good riddance.

Doesn't clean dishes like my old one

I have owned the dishwasher for just over a month. It just doesn't clean the dishes like our old one. In fairness to the machine it appears that this is indicative of the newer models. It looks great and is much quieter than our old one. Hopefully I will find a cycle that will clean the dishes.

Holds dishes galore

I bought this dishwasher during a kitchen renovation six months ago. My only complaint is the flatware container in the door. Although I realize that this gives me more room in the dishwasher it seems that when it begins to fill up that it up hooks easily when I open the door to add something. It washes well and is extremely quiet which I enjoy.

Happy, but...

I am pleased with most of the features of my new dishwasher, except for the flatware basket. It is below the detergent dispenser which makes it difficult to insert the knives into the slots. The basket needs to be removed to do that. Also, the moveable rack dividers are difficult to adjust. The gadgets that change the positions are tight and you need to force them into place.
