needs some more plateware design

Its quiet!You actually have to check it was turned on... so on that front they got it covered.All comes out clean and it dries properly after we had issues with a loose wire.Plates just fall on each other and just don't "stand" in the spaces that were made for them.Also, the silverware section is very very restrictive for the size and shape of the tools you love to use...like forks and knives.they either hit the detergent area, or just plainly don't fit the holes.the two biggies are covered though - clean and quiet
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I absolutely love this dish washer. It's so quiet you hardly know it's running. It is so easy to load - I'm impressed with the inside design. The dishes seem to get really clean too. I would highly recommend this dish washer to anyone.

Whirlpool Gold Dishwasher

After 15 years I had to replace my first Whirlpool dishwasher, there was no other choice for me but to buy another Whirlpool. I love how quiet it is.

Brought from Costco a couple of months ago, and my wife and me couldn't be happier, does an incredible job on the dishes and is quit as a babies breath, It is incredubly roomy and allows us to have a party and clean up all in one load, no buyer remorse here. Would buy another Whirlpool product in a heart beat!

The basket configurations I wanted

The independent repairman told us not to bother fixing our 13 year old dishwasher, and to get a new one, and stick with Whirlpool. Some things took getting used to, but we're happy with it. I like the stainless inside and out. Wash cycle features (of which there are many!) weren't as important to me as the layout of the baskets, with options to lay racks down, reconfigure, etc., so I'm glad we upgraded to this model (because we actually do our own cooking and run at least one load a day!). I ended up installing it myself and it was a lot easier than I expected. It's so quiet we usually forget about it and then say "what's that little wooshing sound? Oh, yeah, I ran the dishwasher."
I would recommend this to a friend!
