Takes 4 hours to complete wash cycle

While we had a part break off in 2nd month (waiting now 3 weeks to get out of stock part), overall design seems ok. This is with the exception of the four hours it takes to complete a wash cycle. Have called Support and this is by design to save energy. For a large family, post party, etc. this means dishes pile up in sink. Design of silver holder also causes you to move door up and down-inconvenient. While we were excited that our builder put an expensive dish washer in house, would not be one I would recommend.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cleans well and Whisper Quiet!

Very nice machine overall, the only thing I would change is the silverware caddie. It isn't very functional. We actually cut the handle off the top because it gets in the way of the silverware. Poor design on that. You also need to know that it doesn't have a garbage disposal built in so you have to clean the filter frequently. The filter sits in the old water from the previous wash and the food in there just sits in the mesh container so it tends to smell. I get most of the food off before I put the dishes in so it doesn't smell so much.

I just love my dishwasher!! It is super quiet and we don't even realize that it is on!!! It has many jets so the dishes come out sparkling clean!!I really like the Eco feature because it conserves water and sometimes you don't need a full cycle for the wash! Nice clean design which is quite appealing in my contemporary kitchen!!! This is a great dishwasher & I highly recommend it!! Just sit back an enjoy!!!!

I am very pleased with this dishwasher, It doesnt seem to leave a residue on the glasses like my old maytag. My dishes come out clean and looking very nice. I like the sleek look as well

Holds a lot of dishes

I love that we can fit so many dishes in this dishwasher at 1 time. It holds larger pans and larger sized dishes easily and with a family of 10 that was important to us. It is way quieter than our last dishwasher. I also loved the door being the full length of the dishwasher. The cons are that the silverware doesn't always come clean in the door. I also dislike the plastic slotted parts that are on the silverware holder. Although they are easy to remove. I don't like the food accumulating in the bottom of the dishwasher either. It's easy to empty the catch, just gross.

I am pleased with this product and the timely nature of installation. However, there are a few things I would like to mention here. First, the placement of silverware having to be entered on the door of the machine is not very convenient and easy. I had to purchase another silverware rack that takes up space right near the front of the lower rack for easier inserting of silverware.After installation, one of the pins that holds the upper rack into a sliding track has broken already. It may have come that way and it took me a week to notice it. But, not having that pin that assists the upper rack to slide easily has been tough and I keep failing to remember to call Whirlpool to have it fixed. But, overall, I am very happy with this unit and it does a great job in my home serving our family.
