We bought this about a month ago and it works very well. Dishes come out sparkling clean. Love the hidden controls. Not sure I like the set up of the baskets to load dishes on, but that may be a matter of getting use to it. The stainless steel gets fingerprints easily. Overall its ability to clean dishes is great!

Door stops don't work on top rack

Had service to design a new stop, pain in the neck! Don't want dishes on the floor. Come out very clean otherwise

I already own a Whirlpool Gold over the range microhood, so when it was time for a new dishwasher, I knew this is what I wantet.Only two complaints:no rinse only cyclemanual cleaning of filter is periodically requiredI live alone and it may take a few days to have a full load, and I would like to rinse the interim loads in between.Otherwise, in love!

Am glad we chose the Whirlpool Gold. It is very quiet, gets the dishes sparkling clean. Have only had it for about 2 months, so the real test is time....Hope it lasts many years!

silverware rack

My only complaints at this time are:1 the silverware tray FREQUENTLY will come open ... both during loading and cleaning ... as soon as i open the door is when it happens. i have tried to make concerted effort to make sure it is latched ... but the latch design needs to be modified.2. the upper rack doesn't allow for full usage of all the rack if you use the plate/bowl prongs in the middle. a slight redesign is needed there.

Our dishwasher is the highest of the high end models. It is stainless inside and out. Inside is fine, it is the outside that seems unacceptable.Water stains and runs stainless steel exterior. We have tried every product available to no avail.

I just finished hand washing my dishes. I wish that I still had my 20 year old Whirpool. Every dish comes out with a film on it, if there was any food on the dish it is now baked on. I am so disappointed. It looks great, is very quiet and the controls are eaisy to understand. Doesn't matter, the dishes are dirty, I can't imagine what that film is. I am not thrilled with the design of the silverware basket, my flatware is not unusual but it does not fit into the slots, a good idea but didn't work out for us.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
