When my nephew installed this for me and he turned it on, he thought at first he'd done something wrong because he didn't think it was running--it was that quiet. The black ice is so pretty. My old dishwasher never did a very good job of getting my dishes clean. My grandkids started looking in the glasses before putting anything in them in case Grandpa or I didn't check them good enough after unloading our old dishwasher. I have done several loads on one hour wash and even that gets them clean.

great value for a premium silent dishwasher

replaced an older frigidaire dishwasher, and compared this to several from LG, Samsung, Bosch and GE. What stood out was the combination of features, brand reliability, quiet sound level, and built in look at a price point not seen for this combination. A great value buy.

Cleans Great Except

I bought this a month ago and am pleased with the cleaning results (much better than my old machine). . .except for the silverware. The rack is in the door and that may be part of the problem. To load the rack using silverware spacers is time consuming and to unload is also time consuming. I have tried not using the spacers, but then the silverware may not get clean if it happens to be next to another spoon; or if it is a serving piece, the back of the utensil may not come clean. My old dishwasher (not a Whirlpool) had the silverware rack at the side of the bottom rack, and I know it allowed the silverware to wash cleaner. So I would recommend this dishwasher with that reservation.

Good unit, performs well and is noise level is very good. Installed this unit myself. Easy install if you are a do-it-yourselfer and are replacing an existing unit. Dishes and glasses come out clean every time.
