Quiet and efficient

We have had this dishwasher for only two (2) weeks, but we are already in love with it. We have done several loads of dishes and cannot believe how extremely quite it is during the entire wash, rinse and dry cycles. We washed a load of our best (and delicate) glasses and they came out looking like shining diamonds. We also love the fact that this dishwasher offers many energy efficient choices with both the wash and dry cycles. We are in the process of replacing all of our older (white) Whirlpool appliances with the Black Ice series. So far we have purchased a range and microwave in addition to the dishwasher. We are so impressed with the quality and the sophistication of all of them.

Surprisingly high capacity.

My wife had wanted a new dishwasher for a long time. When the old one was ready to go, I wanted something reliable. My wife wanted one with many features. We found both in the Whirlpool Gold Series dishwasher. It?s extremely quiet. We often forget that it?s running.

Quiet with loads of options

My wife and I made a great choice buying this Whirlpool dishwasher...- It's so quiet I can hear it running if ONLY if there's complete silence in the kitchen.- Many cleaning options, and we use the "Sensor" most often...set it and forget it.- Racks have many adjustment options.

My biggest complaint is that the spikes on the racks are spaced too close together to properly accomodate my stoneware dishes. They work best if I skip one in between dishes which cuts capacity in half. Takes longer than my old one but does a nice job of cleaning. The silverware rack when left on the door doesn't always dry completely. I quite often crack open the door a while before I unload it and then it is fine and doesn't require extra energy use to get that completely dry. Maybe some sort of warning if the arms were not turning freely would be helpful. Had that problem once with a houseful of company. Had to completely rewash the load when I figured out why dishes came out dirty. My fault, not the machine but with 15or20 people here and waiting for dishes for the next meal and lots of extra noise in the room, it would have been very helpful to know earlier in the process.

Quiet Easy to load

I love this dishwasher. It is so quiet you don't know it's running. Easy to load with adjustable top shelf. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get a new dishwasher.

This dishwasher is terrific! The adjustable racks make it easy to load every size dish/pan I own. The utensil basket moves easily from front to side, depending on what else I've loaded, and it removes easily to empty. The SENSOR feature actually works; every dish comes out clean.The best news of all?---this model is SO VERY QUIET!I have already recommended this model to two friends.
