Product very quiet, stylish and efficient.

Great job cleaning, using sensor setting, but when loading long utensils, you must be careful not to load next to detergent tray if basket is on outside of main compartment. Also, after several washes, some foul odor is noticed. One must follow directions to run empty wash 3 times with dishwasher cleaner to eliminate odor. Another problem, albeit small, is that some deep saucers take up more space in lower basket than previous dishwasher. Overall, great dishwasher for the money.

Bought dishwasher several months ago and was amazed how well the heavy soiled dishes and pans came out no spotting either!

I really like the quiet efficient dishwasher. My only concern is the silverware basket does not allow the space for my silverware, the slots are not big enough, except for the back slots.

I would rather have the controls where I can see them to be able to tell where it is in the various cycles (i.e. Is it still in the wash cycle, so I can open it and add another piece). I especially enjoy having peace and quiet while it's running!

I bought black ice stove and dishwasher because they are absolutely beautiful. I had been looking for a long time and once I saw these, and that it was Whirlpool, that was it. I did not really research more because how can you go wrong?I am not very happy with either I am afraid. The dishwasher just is not the best, I always have to rewash something. Love the silverware in the door but never comes out clean.The stove is also beautiful, but am finding it very slow to heat up. The top is a nightmare to keep clean and has a cut in it somehow the very first week.Again, they are beautiful, but I am not having the best luck with them which breaks my heart!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sooo Quiet!

This was a replacement for 15+ year-old Whirlpool that was just starting to seep at the door seal. I wanted a quiet dishwasher and this Whirlpool Gold is it! It's so quiet that I've had to go up to the machine to see if it's actually running. I love the adjustable racks, which allow for larger glasses and pans. Since there is no center water jet (in the center of the bottom rack), I can now effectively and easily wash electrostatic filters from my furnace and not risk damaging filter elements. The silverware basket does a nice job of separating utensils for better cleaning, and uses little space. The filters are easy to access and clean and the adjustable rinse agent dispenser is a great innovation, too.I highly recommend this machine to anyone who wants a quit, reliable machine at a reasonable price.
