I like the sleek look, the efficiency is great, the many different options of cleaning cycles is very important to me, I use the sensor option most of the time due to being the most efficient option. I've owned Whirlpool products for 17 years and i would'nt purchase any other product but Whirlpool, I've had great luck with all my Whirlpool appliances.

Overall, I am VERY pleased with this dishwasher...bought it to replace a previous Whirlpool D/W that was installed in the house when built. This one is SO MUCH more quiet than the previous one! It does take a bit longer to complete the wash & dry cycle, but I always set it to run during the night so it's ready to unload in the morning. My only problem (minor) with the dishwasher is with the flatware slots...my pattern doesn't fit well in the openings in the silverware basket. I solved the problem by leaving the tops of the basket open. The silverware sometimes tends to "nest" a bit, but it really doesn't affect the cleaning process--sometimes just holds water a bit more than usual. Everyone really likes the style & look of the D/W...the "White Ice" color looks great with the big chrome handle across the front of the machine---sort of "retro" look! Definitely am enjoying this dishwasher & recommend it to others looking for a stylish performer!!

Great Features & Very Quiet!

Bought this dishwasher a month ago and I really like it. It gets the dishes very clean without rinsing them first and is very quiet.

Quiet with nice features

Fairly nice dishwasher, but mine leaks a few drops of dishwasher detergent on to the kitchen floor (comes from lower left corner of the door) when we run the dishwasher. Seemed to perfectly happen right after the 1yr warranty and only happens maybe a 1/3 of the time. seems like a bad seal or something.Very annoying that they didn't put the LED lights on the front. almost impossible to tell if the dishwasher is complete or not, unless you memorize the location of the LEDs and bend down to look.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Design problem

Overall an excellent dishwasher. The only problem is the handle fit. We are on the second one and it does not fit flush. One side is approx. 1/2 inch from front of the machine. The first handle did not fit at all, due to a quality control issue.

Dishwasher is wonderful. I should have replaced my old dishwasher maybe four years ago. It was 25+ years old. My old dishwasher was a Whirlpool and still running. The door hinge springs broke due to corrosion. My complaint about my new dishwasher is the plastic Whirlpool logo on the bottom of the door. It will eventually catch on a cleaning cloth and snag and break. My old whirlpool logo was flat and never caused a problem. Please change your application of your logo.

Extremely Quit, Lots of room, Cleans well except for silverw

Dishwasher is extremely quiet, cannot tell its running.Has lots of room for loading almost everything shape and size.One complaint is the silverware container. It has holes between the compartments and things slide from side to side. It is not very large compared to the rest of the dishwasher. It does however sit inside or outside which is convenient. Sometimes food gets stuck down inside the container. We use liquid dishwasher soap and it seems to be building up on the floor of the dishwasher.
