really great dishwasher

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stainless steel whirlpool dishwasher and have really enjoyed the sani feature and high temperature setting. I have not gotten a chance to use the scrubbing feature but will as soon as the holidays come around. It is extremely quiet. I have to open it sometimes in order to see if it is running and always gets my dishes really clean.My husband and I are very impressed with the quality of the machine as we have never owned one with stainless steel inside and like it much better than the plastic ones we have owned. This is my first whirlpool dishwasher even thought I have owned other whirlpool products. Would highly recommend this dishwasher to all.

Does what it is supposed to do! My dishes have never been so clean and sparkley!! My favorite cycle is the overnight one. We've really put this dishwasher to the test: dried oatmeal, yogurt, avocado, baked on ick, even the meat drippings that stick to the bottom of the pan. The ALL came completely clean. We love the silverware in the door...it gets it out of the way and makes more room for big stuff on the bottom rack. The only negative I can think of is that I have found only one specific spot on the bottom rack that will hold a cookie sheet. (and then I can only put in one at a time)

Great Dishwasher and Very Quiet

I cannot speak for all of the features because I just completed a kitchen remodel with all new appliances. Have not read manual yet. However, basic features are great and love the Black Ice finish.I also got the whirlpool Black Ice Convection Range and Black Ice Microwave. Unfortunately Whirlpool did not make a Black Refrigerator that would fit in the area under cabinets in my condo, and also give me the storage space inside that I need. Whirlpool far outweighs the benefits and beauty of other brand appliances.Looking forward to a long relationship with this dishwasher.

We bought our new dishwasher a little over a month ago and it has been terrific. We were replacing our old Whirlpool dishwasher that had lasted 20 years. Because it worked so well we went with the same brand. Love the silverware on the door and the adjustable top rack. We got stainless steel tub and love it. I would recommend Whirlpool to everyone I know.

VERY DISAPPOINTED, and a tad angry

We bought this Dishwasher based on reviews, Electricity/Water savings and color was nice. HOWEVER, from the very beginning, it has been nothing but frustration.Silverware holder holds less than my old dishwasher, not to mention that they do not all get clean (yes, they are put in properly, and not jammed, as well as pre-rinsed) and some fall down laying flat inside the holder. We have tried both positions for the silverware holder. Door position is seriously not helpful, but more of a pain.Inside is much smaller, and can only load limited items...ANOTHER WASTE. have to run again.You MUST use the Rinse-Aid or it won't dry properly, and in fact, does not clean as well if not added. We in fact have soft water as well, so this shouldn't be required at all as far as cleaning. We also do not shove items in, nor load dried on foods.Here's the rub: Purchasing for $$ savings, BUT paying more than running a much older molder that cleaned better, and didn't require pre-rinsing, nor rinse aid. We wind up HAND WASHING our dishes First, and then putting in this dishwasher or forgo it altogether, so essentially we are using (paying extra) water and soap BEFORE loading and then running (using More electricity, More soap, more $$) or just wash by hand and be done with it. This is a Hit or Miss piece of expensive equipment. I do not care about noise level, I believe most would agree that functioning properly after spending hard earned $$ is most importantThis is an VERY EXPENSIVE Dishwasher to own. What a huge waste of our hard earned $$$. I cannot recommend this to anyone, nor will I rush out to look at any Whirlpool Products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this dishwasher

I love all the features on this new dishwasher. It gets my dishes really clean. Has a lot of nice features like ability to lower the racks when I have bigger bowls, pans. It is so quiet. Also like that can do the cleaning in an hour. Also the Eco system is good. Does a fantastic job of cleaning my dishes

This whirlpool dishwasher was much better than I expected. It operates so quietly and the dishes, pots and pans, and glassware come out so sparkling clean. The price was very reasonable for the great quality. I particularly like the large silverware rack that can be placed in the door or in the dishwasher. This is my first stainless steel tub and it looks so clean and smells so fresh. I simply think I got a great product that far exceeded my expectations.
