A wonderfully quiet appliance.

When I bought the Whirlpool dishwasher, I was told that it was not the quietest on the market. That may be true but I have to lean over and put my head next to it to tell if it is on. It is so quiet. I love that.

Purchase this dishwasher for our newly built home. I have had overthe years many Whirlpool appliances. So this was an easy choicefor us. Looks great with our other appliances (some being Whirlpool too)

Very Happy with the Improvements

This dishwasher replaced a a whirlpool gold I purchased in 2007. Many improvements - the most notable 3 - it is VERY quiet compared to the previous model, it handles liquid detergents excellently (I could only effectively use powder in the old one), and the controls on the top of the door are very nice - especially the ECO features. This is the first time I have had a stainless steel interior on a dishwasher- not sure if it is worth the extra costs.

Quiet

I recently remodeled my kitchen and bought a new stainless steel dishwasher. The dishwasher is so quiet. I hate the knife and fork holders. Not enough big holes for silverware with larger handles.The fit in the door is awkward. The utensils do not all come clean. Whirlpool needs to come up with a new design for the utensil rack.

Really Cleans

I have had my new dishwasher for about a month. I didn't realize how bad my old one was until I got this one. It looks great in my new kitchen, has tons of room inside and the dishes come out perfectly clean. I am getting used to the silverware on the door but it does allow you to move it if you don't like it there. I love the controls being on the top of the unit so it doesn't get so many fingerprints. I stressed over buying a dishwasher and read tons of reviews so I am happy to report that this one is a winner.

We bought this a month ago and have been very pleased with everthing it offers. It is quiet, the adjustable top rack it awesome and the utensil rack on the door leaves so much room for the bottom rack.

Excellent Performance, Very Quiet, but Poor Ergonomic Design

Excellent Performance and very Quiet. Poor ergonomic design with flatware basket attached to the door making it difficult to load. We modified the interior design and ease of loading by placing the flatware/cutlery basket in the front of the bottom tray. Also, our unit came with the building package of our new DR Horton home, but installed with the surface of the front door visually damaged.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
