Quality and convenience

I have no complaints at all about this new dishwasher. I have had it 3 months. My mother just bought the same one, had hers installed yesterday. I had a five year old Frigidaire that was put in by the builder. It started rusting at 3 years! I did not realize just how flimsy it was until I got my Whirlpool. I have Whirlpool Duet front load washer and dryer and I love them. In my last home, we had 10 year old Whirlpool appliances in our kitchen when we sold it. We owned that home 6 years and never had to have any of those appliances serviced. I am sticking with Whirlpool! This dishwasher is quiet, has many features I actually use and cleans beautifully! It is sleek and sturdy as well. When my Frigidaire refrigerator goes (it is already rusting!) I will no doubt replace it with a Whirlpool!

Great dishwasher, REALLY quiet!

The inside layout of this dishwasher is perfect. Easy to fit all my pots, bowls and dishes. It is very quiet!! The only issue we had was the front handle wasn't completely installed correctly. It would come loose and come off real easy, but one trip from the repair service fixed the problem. I would highly recommend this model.

The design is sleek and simple. I like the stainless lining and the energy efficient setting. It is so quiet that sometimes we have to check to see if it is actually running. Very happy with the purchase.

Love the PowerScour option, but...

The first unit that was delivered to my house had a bad motor. Water would pump in and pump out but nothing happened in between. So after a week without a dishwasher waiting for the replacement unit, I loaded and hit the start button and this one worked great. The PowerScour option works great for the hard to clean baking dishes, but I just can't get by the on-door utensil holder. The slot width for most of slots are too narrow to fit in average size utensils. I did read this in another review prior to purchase but couldn't really tell in the store that the slots were too small. But they are. I pulled the utensil holder out my old washer and use that instead of the on door unit. Aside from that, the unit works great, is very quiet, and cleans great. Low quality mark was because of the first unit with the bad motor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

bought 7 months ago and still running. Better than the Whirlpool refrigerator I bought at the same time. fingers crossed no warranty calls on this one

I spent quite a bit of time researching products for our remodel. I am so pleased with the noise level, which is almost none! This model does an excellent job of cleaning, as well. I highly recommend the Whirlpool Gold series.
