Excellent Cleaning and Quiet

We moved into a new house with a dead dishwasher. I found this one for sale through the Whirlpool Outlet site. It took several weeks for it to come in, but let me tell you, it was worth it!After the first load, I took-out a well-used Pyrex dish and wondered when my wife went out and bought a new one. I'd never seen it that clean, even brand-new. The same went for our pots and pans. The Power Scour option is a lifesaver.And this thing is QUIET!! I could hear still my other dishwasher running if I were standing next to a jet engine. I can stand right next to this one and wouldn't be able to tell if it's running unless I looked at the status lights.I would highly recommend this model and look forward to many years of service.

Overall a good dishwasher

I think the Whirlpool dishwasher is a good dishwasher. Overall, I am very happy with it. I think it could still be improved upon, but what dishwasher couldn't? I like the silverware holder in the door, which is exclusive to Whirlpool and why I came back to whirlpool. It is a very quiet machine. I like how many options it has. The dishes come out very clean. The only problem we have had, and it is not with the dishwasher, is the detergents. They just don't clean as well as they used to. I have to add a little bleach to get some stains off. I had this problem with the machine we replaced too. I really like the styling of the Whirlpool, it looks very nice in my kitchen. It is very deep. I have no problems getting dishes, pots and pans into it, including a tall 12 quart stock pot that I always had to wash by hand before. Again, I like this dishwasher and it does a good job. I would recommend it.

I have only had this dishwasher for a couple of months but it is fabulous so far - very quiet. I ordered the white with stainless steel handle and it looks great. It is very easy to use and I would definitely recommend this appliance to others.

Classy looking dishwasher that cleans well!

We purchased a "Black Ice" style Whirlpool Gold dishwasher a few months ago and we are very happy with the way it looks in the room and the way it cleans the dishes. The silverware container fits either on the door or in the bottom rack providing flexibility for loading. It has a stainless steel liner and an adjustable upper rack. I like the sturdy quality construction and even with the rack in the higher position, it accommodates some wine glasses. The sleek handle allows a place to put your kitchen towel to dry if you need it. It is extremely quiet while operating.

I bought my first brand new appliance after reading the consumer ratings, and doing quite a bit of homework. I wanted an American made brand and I wanted it installed / serviced by a "Mom & Pop" shop that comes from Main St USA. I am so glad I did! I love this dishwasher so much I go all around the house looking for stuff to wash!

The only criticism is the silverware basket, which is attached to the inside door. Cleaning the silverware is hindered by not having 360 degree exposure to the cleaning jets.

We are very happy with our new Whirlpool dishwasher. We use it more often because it is so energy efficient. I am also impressed with the powerscour option. It cleans the baked on stuff very well.
