I was looking for a quiet dishwasher with a few specific features, such as top rack height adjust, silverware rack with individual utensil separators, and a place to put a few wine glasses. I am very please with this purchase and would readily recommend it.

We had a terrible, terrible GE Profile dishwasher that came with our house and I was constantly hand washing everything that came out after being washed. So I had this Whirlpool Gold Series dishwasher installed. Overall, 90% of the dishes come out great, even if it's caked on, dried, etc. However, the silverware basket is a terrible design. I am still rewashing many of the utensils. The backside of the basket is not mesh, so nothing, water nor food, can move through it, and it's terribly small so the silverware nestle against each other, which leaves food between them. I try to put everything tine/spoon side up (which I don't like b/c I don't want my kids touching it there to put it away when it's clean), but it's never a guarantee it will come clean anyway. Really need to rethink this design for the silverware basket Whirlpool! The only last complaint I have is that no matter what setting I use, or how long I wait until after a wash is complete, the dishes are REALLY wet yet. I have to use a towel for almost everything to put it away so I doesn't have stale water sitting in it in the cupboard.

Very quiet

It is very quiet. I discovered it is because there isn't a food grinder. That means very good rinsing of the dishes before they go in if you don't want to be cleaning nasty food out of the filter. Haven't decided yet if I'd rather have a louder dishwasher and a grinder. But since my home is open concept it is very nice that I can run the dishwasher and not even realize it is on.

I like the fact that there are several features/options if/when you may need them; what I really like the best (and is what prompted the purchase) is that my Whirlpool dishwasher cleans and dries the dishes consistently and has been reliable.

We love this product for it's ease of operation, ease of loading, and it's quietness. Sometimes we have to lean down and listen to be sure it is running. The only dislike is the silverware holder. Wish it had be placed inside the rack but it really works fine where it is. Just think it might have made the rack longer if it had been placed elsewhere. Overall an excellent product.

Better than Expected

We had a terrible experience with our last dishwasher, and our expectations on what was available were fairly low. We expected to pay more than we should to receive marginal performance. This Whirlpool dishwasher has been just amazing. Super quite, cleans extremely well, and even our biggest pots and plates fit in making it so versatile.We have had no issues. We use Cascade Gel and the Dry Rinse rinse aid and we get super clean dishes. We tried the power scrubber feature - awesome results. It wasn't very much louder with that cycle on either.Only one negative - can somebody take the plastic covering off the stainless before you put the handle on? Handle is easy to get off if you have the right tools, but it should be easier than that for average person. This is pretty small issue, but the plastic wrap edges showing is tacky.Definitely recommend this product.

Looks and Works Beautifully

I was initially drawn to this model because of the clean modern look on the outside, but I also wanted updated features. I love the inside as much as the outside. I can finally wash tall sports bottles and wine glasses on the top rack thanks to the adjustable upper rack. The interior is flexible for loading and well designed; I don't hear dishes clanking together during the wash any more; they stay put. It's so quiet that I can run it anytime without interrupting family activities. Most importantly, the dishes come out clean and dry.

Good dishwasher

I've had this dishwasher for about a month now and it cleans great. Two drawbacks are: 1. The silverware tray is on the door so when the machine is open everything shifts out of the tray or wedges itself into the basket 2. Since it is energy efficient everything in the dishwasher does dry completely and the walls/door stay wet.
