I BOUGHT A NEW HOUSE AND CHOSE THE GE FRIDGE. ITS GREAT. THE FACE IS STAINLESS, BUT BECAUSE ITS ATTACHED TO A MAGNETIC CORE AND THATS AWESOME! I CAN PT ALL OF MY KIDS PICTURES, AND TRAVEL MOMENTOS ON IT.

Freezer is awful!

This refrigerator came with our new construction home. The freezer destroys our food. All of our meat is covered in frost. Everything gets freezer burned. This is our second GE refrigerator that does this. Very frustrating that I may have to replace this brand new appliance. We have yet to try the icemaker because we are waiting to see if there is an issue with the builder install. At this point it will not make ice or deliver water through the door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought a GE microwave when I was living in a appointment and my problems to microwave came to an end. So when I bought a new home, I said to my wife "GE products all the way baby". I am happy that all my appliances are GE products.
