Very happy we were able to find this model in Bisque still available in this small size as we are limited in height and width. The first model we had lasted nine years before the compressor went out, dissapointed by that. We also wish the new model would have more than a one year limited warranty on the compressor.

Icemaker

Refrigerator is fine, but icemaker is a problem. Ice comes out in a gush and goes all over the floor, also the icemaker doesn,t shut off when it should and ice falls into freezer shelves.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We needed a refrigerator and I really prefer GE products. We had to have bisque and it could only be so wide and so deep, so I basically only had one choice and it was this one. Well, it's perfect in every way - a bit more room than my 31-year-old, "old" refrigerator, plus through-door water and ice. Runs quietly, it's attractive, and has a nice texture finish. Handy controls on outside of freezer door. My wife and I think it was the perfect choice.
