We had an earlier, similar model that was part of our household for years. When it was time to replace it, replaced with the same updated refrigerator. That says a lot about the refrigerator.

I was pretty scared getting another GE fridge after the nightmare I had with my last brand new GE profile fridge. This fridge has been a breath of fresh air finally, it is much more spacious and easier to use than a french door style we had before. But the best thing is its quiet! I give it 4 starts because I am not sure this will last, still a little nervous.

I like this water filter and ice dispenser. good bye for the money. Not sure how much will be different for refrigerator between brand. My condo came with this refrigerator as default. I like the size and function.

I bought this GE after doing some research and I am glad I did. My problem with my old refrigerator- which was only 8 years old, was that it was inconsistent: froze veggies sometimes and would not get cold enough to safely keep food like meat and dairy cold at other times. My new GE is perfect! Temperature remains constant and if it is a really hot day I just lower the temp 1 degree for peace of mind. Love it!
