This is our second GE of this type, side x side with ice maker. We liked the first one, but it had issues, especially with the motherboard. I'm hoping this one has been improved and that won't be a problem. There's just 2 of us, so we didn't need a large refrigerator. It works fine, keeps food cold, makes plenty of ice. I've heard of people complaining about ice jumping out while filling a glass. Sometimes, small pieces of ice do get past the glass, but only tiny pieces. We hold our glass up to the top of the handle as far as it will go, and don't have any major issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this model because larger size wouldn't fit in opening. This size is roomier than I thought it would be and I love the features

We never had a ice maker and water in our fridge. This was small enough to fit in kitchen. Freezer is a little small, a lot more room in the fridge
