Great features

I am very pleased with my refrigerator. We were limited to what size we could buy based on the opening we had in our kitchen for it. It is working out very well and love the water/ice dispenser.

The features I like the best are the water and ice dispenser, push button controls and interior design. Has to be the quietest running I have had which is nice in my small house.

quiet, lots of room

I needed to purchase a new refrigerator and I wanted to view one in the store but when I could not find one and I went on line and read a lot of the reviews. Some were very favorable and some were not. My kitchen is galley style (but not narrow) the space for the refrigerator was small so I had to find one that had everything I wanted. This refrigerator fit the bill. We love it. The ice dispenser is loud but not as loud as my 20 year old refrigerator. GE is a good appliance and I hope this GE last as long as my last.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to keep clean

I bought my refrigerator last year and like it very much. The only negative feedback is the noise from the freezer. When the ice maker gets almost full it sounds as if the motor is straining. I had someone out but apparently something else was making that noise because it's back. I usually have to empty the ice container once every two weeks to stop the noise. Other than that I have no issues.

Replace 1984 GE

Pretty happy with it, but miss the third drawer for fruit. I don't like that one drawer has one setting for vegetables only or a setting for fruit only. I like that it has a water filter.

I've had my refrigerator only a few days and I just love it. I love the textured finish on the outside. The inside of the refrigerator is very roomy (much larger than I expected). The freezer side looked small until I started filling it up. It stores more that it looks like it would. Two negative things I found: one is the ice dispenser. I find it dispenses and crushed ice very slow. My old refrigerator was much faster. Second is on top of each door you can see the insulation showing. I think that should have been consealed in some form. Over all I do like the product and will recommend it to my friends.

A little short

Just bought and the Consumer Product Ownership Registration card calls this Model GSH22JGD BB, not GSH2JGDBB.
Anyway, why couldn't you have made it an inch or two wider, so it would have more cubic space. Your next size up was too tall, by an inch, to fit under my cabinets.
Three main objections: too small; the leveler didn't help the door to close by itself; and the ice maker is still the pits! Cubes are so small they frequently come though the crusher in whole or halves. Inexcusable!
My last GE, 23.5 cu. ft., lasted 27 years, but the replacement icemaker a year ago was the same as this new one, which is the only reason I bought a new one. I guess I should have known better. You got me!
Please invent a better icemaker/crusher!
