[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this refrigerator because of the textured doors. I am not a fan of the smooth doors, so I was happy to find this product! Good lighting even for the bottom drawers. Nice shelves that pull out for easy cleaning with plenty of room for storage. Ice maker is more compact which allows more freezer room. Enjoying this ref refrigerator.

The doors are to small, its hard to find anything in the freezer as I am used to a freezer on the bottom with a pull out drawer, things were right in front of you. Seems like there was more room in the drawer than the side by side.

Not Like the Old One

I replaced my 1984 GE fridge with this one and found a few things I miss! (1) separate bins for veggies and fruits; and (2) an ice cube dispenser that doesn't spew ice all over -- the old one didn't!; (3) door to fridge doesn't have anything to keep it from banging into wall. Like everything else about it though.

Recent purchase and there are some nice features that we previously did not have, that seem to be not only convenient but energy efficient. For example, door alarm if the door is left open.

bought a new home with limited dimensions and this product fit the bill. delivered with missing plastic door for butter tray, but homedepot indicated that they would contact the manufacturer. Fridge has the features my wife wanted in a side by side and was purchased at a good price. Can not speak to the reliablity, but hope that it holds up like past GE products.
