A Blessing and Curse

I received this as a gift on Christmas 2017. It was an upgrade from my previous versions (which I still use). I use it to bake all the time, IT IS AMAZING!!!! My daughter was washing it and it slipped out of her hand and cracked the bowl. The curse has been trying to find a replacement bowl just like it. How can I even use this expensive mixer with no bowl? My family has always lived for kitchenaid, but this replacement issue truly has us upset.

Great mixer, gorgeous bowl that broke

I loved this mixer until the glass bowl broke. It was always hand washed and well taken care of. Disappointing to have forked out all the money to not have the bowl last.

Great Mixer

We bought the mixer 6 years ago and the only problem we have had is replacing the glass bowl, it breaks and they are impossible to find. The mixer is great the bowl is terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No replacement bowl

We got this mixer as a wedding gift 3 years ago and have loved it! We've used it for probably a thousand cookies and many other baked goodies. The only bummer has been that recently the side of the glass bowl chipped off about an inch or so and put a large crack down the side. I can't find a replacement bowl anywhere. Seems like everyone else is having the same problem. It's been great, and we've loved it, but now it is just sitting there while I mix cookies by hand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cracked Bowl!

I have two kitchenaid mixers, love them!!! But the glass bowl for my 6500 has developed a Crack in the bottom! I only handwssh my glass bowl and was so surprised when I saw the Crack. To be honest I think it is a flaw in the design! A replacement bowl is sooo expensive!

I have had to replace this bowl three times since owning this mixer over the last 2 years. It cracks and chips very easily. I am not a commercial baker but I do bake a lot for my family and on holidays. It is very disappointing to keep replacing such an expensive bowl!

Glass bowl broke

My mom really wanted me to learn how to bake. She practically forced me to learn on her kitchen aid. I've been baking every since, that is until my glass bowl broke and a replacement cannot be found. I am so disappointed and heart broken since this mixer has sentimental value because the purchase was inspired my mom who passed away this time last year. How can you make anything glass and not carry a replacement. I'm disappointed kitchen aid.

Great Bowl for the Mixer

I bought this bowl for my wife for Christmas and found out it does not work with her 5qt mixer when are you going to come out with the glass 5qt lift stand mixing bowl
