Glass bowl cracked

My Kitchen Aid glass bowl cracked while in regular use. I don’t think I will buy another glass bowl to replace. While I really enjoy being able to see if the food was being fully mixed Im not sure that it’s worth the safety issue of the bowl breaking while under normal use.

Replacement bowl does not fit mixer

I was excited to finally see this bowl in stock to replace my broken glass bowl. I ordered it, received it, and attached it to mix my pie filling. It does not fit the 6500 mixer. The bowl is not the same style as the original bowl and looks cheaply made. The paddle attachment grinds against the bottom of the glass bowl making it unusable. I am very disappointed.

6-qt pro series bowl cracked!

I used my mixer about a dozen times over the course of a year. I opened the cupboard one fine day to use it and the bowl was cracked. It was clipped on the base properly since being used last and it sat in a spacious cupboard with nothing but the beater stored inside the bowl. I know it's not my fault since I cared for it appropriately and I put it away in perfect condition, and after seeing the reviews here I am very sure of a product defect. I am very disappointed that I chose the glass bowl and do not recommend it.

LOVE my mixer, however...

I've had my mixer for years and I've loved it. But recently large pieces fell off the side after lifting the bowl top mix. I've looked everywhere for a replacement, with no luck at all. This seems to be a common issue with a lot of people. I've missed using my mixer as it's one of the most used items in my kitchen. I would love to hopefully find a solution to the lack of replacement bowl.

My review is of the Glass Bowl, not the Mixer itself.I bought the mixer,which I love, but the bowl broke for unknown reasons. I went to use it one day and it had a large crack. I have tried to find a replacement bowl without any success. I have a beautiful mixer sitting on my counter top, that is basically useless. I have checked the Kitchenaid Website and the bowl has been unavailable. I would try a stainless bowl, but I have read they won't work with my model. If anyone knows of a bowl that will work with the 600pro lift model, I would love to know.

Disappointing product - both bowl and mixer

I got the mixer for Christmas several years ago and I was very excited because of the larger capacity from my existing machine. However, it has never mixed properly (does not cream butter and sugar properly) and while I still used it with increasing frustration over the years (because it was expensive!), yesterday while hand washing it, the bowl suddenly broke. I would like to talk to Kitchen Aid about this product and the fact that it does not meet the quality standards I have come to expect from Kitchen Aid (I have many of your products, and this is the most disappointing by far!)

Glass Bowl cracked

Initially loved the mixer. However, the glass bowl cracked and we also cannot find a replacement, so the mixer is now useless. What is the solution? Will KitchenAid offer a solution?

Don't buy the glass bowl

I love the mixer but Kitchen Aid has a serious problem with quality when it comes to this bowl. The one that came with my mixer cracked when I was washing it and I thought it was a fluke. I bought a replacement and it broke as well the same way. I wasn't doing anything that should have caused it to break. I'm out $200.00 in bowls. After reading other comments, its obvious I'm not the only one who has had this issue.
