Use to love it.

I’ve had my glass bowl for about a year. I use it all the time. I was washing it and it slipped barely hit my sink and now has a big crack down the side. This sucks because I loved this bowl so much more then my stainless. You would think for something that heavy it wouldn’t break so easily.

LOVE my mixer, however...

I've had my mixer for years and I've loved it. But recently large pieces fell off the side after lifting the bowl top mix. I've looked everywhere for a replacement, with no luck at all. This seems to be a common issue with a lot of people. I've missed using my mixer as it's one of the most used items in my kitchen. I would love to hopefully find a solution to the lack of replacement bowl.

Why isn't "zero stars" an option???

Bowl does not fit attachment for my metal bowl and I was actually going to return the bowl and purchase the package with the glass bowl and glass bowl attachments that fit. BUT, the online return doesn't work, online chat msg says it's unavailable (during the hours the web site says it is), AND customer service will not answer the phone. I'd rather mix things by hand than spend another dime on Kitchen Aid. Thanks for ruining a Christmas gift!

Broken hearted

I was recently making cakes for the holiday, tapped the beater on the side of the bowl and the glass broke! A piece about 3 inches big just broke off. It’s impossible to find a replacement bowl, as it’s out of stock here and no retailers have it. Now I’m stuck using a hand mixer for my orders until I can find a replacement bowl.

Broken bowl

I got mine as a Culinary School graduation gift. I was so so excited and proud. But the mixer doesn’t reach anywhere near the bottom of the bowl. Probably a 1/2 inch gap, which makes it useless for whipping things like eggs. I learned how to deal with this, and then the bowl broke! I’m in shock that it would break so easily. And saddened to see all these other negative reviews. It is the heaviest and loudest mixer out there, I assumed it was sturdy as well. Kitchen aid, you are supposed to be the ULTIMATE kitchen appliance brand! I’m so let down

Disappointed

I got this mixer as a Christmas gift and the bowl got broken in a car accident. I am unable to locate the replacement glass bowl so the mixer is pretty useless at this point. I almost would have to buy an entire new mixer.
Other than this, I was pretty pleased with the mixer’s performance. I’m just disappointed in the lack of replacement parts.
