Unbelievable price.

Bought my pro 2 months back, mother was washing and it fell and shattered. Now im left with a expensive mixer thats useless. Wouldve gave it 5 stars if it was more durqble but now i cant get qny use outbofbmy very expensive mixer.

Glass bowl cracked

The bowl cracked within a year (with a slight tap on the side when washing it) and I have not found the replacement and then there’s the cost - wish I had gotten the metal bowl.

Thick glass cracks and breaks sooooo easily

I've had my stand mixer for a few years. It came with a metal bowl and I finally decided to splurge and get the glass bowl. I was in the middle of making cookies and tapped a spoon on the side of it - not too hard- and a large chunk of the glass broke off. This isn’t exactly a cheap accessory and for the thick glass to break so easily is really disappointing. I absolutely love my stand mixer and use it quite often. Sadly, I even purchased this bowl for my mom too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My KitchenAid is my most favorite tool in my kitchen. I run a cake business out of our home and this is my fourth KitchenAid mixer, my dream mixer, a 6 QT silver beauty with a glass bowl! My husband bought if for me for Christmas this past December. I keep it on the counter, safe under the upper cabinets. I reached for the bowl to fill a wedding cake order this morning and what do I see? A 2 !/2 inch crack from the top rim down. Ugh! I had to grab all my ingredients and drive to my mom's house to use her mixer. I don't know that I would recommend this mixer to a friend only because my bowl cracked for whatever reason that I can't figure out and I am not able to replace it. What am I going to do now? I see that the glass mixing bowls are out of stock. I have depended on these mixers for over 30 years. I've never had a problem until now. Does anyone know of a brand that is equal in the quality of KitchenAid? I'm desperate!

Great bowl . . .before it breaks.

I received this mixer as a gift, and it has largely been unused until very recently. Now that we are in quarantine, I have been baking frequently, and my bowl cracked right in the middle of mixing a batch of chocolate chip cookies for a birthday. Not only did my bowl get destroyed, but I had to throw out the entire batch of batter for fear of glass shards, effectively ruining the birthday gift I had planned. I would have expected better from KitchenAid, especially given the cost of this very expensive mixer.

Love the mixer, glass bowl cracks!

I absolutely love this mixer. However, the bowl has cracked and I can't find a replacement bowl. I only wash the bowl by hand, store it out of the way so nothing can damage it, and it just cracked on the lip of the bowl while washing. Now, I'm unable to use this mixer which is very upsetting!
