Makes tempering chocolate so easy!

EXCELLENT ADDITION to my pro line series 7 qt!!!

I had been lusting over this bowl since getting my pro line series 7qt mixer (first kitchenaid and I LOVE IT). I FINALLY got it and put it to task. I have several chocolate buttercream frosting recipes that came out wonderfully and I made dinner rolls (mix, knead, rise and bake) within 2 hours. It made one of my favorite things to make (dinner rolls) super easy. I'm looking forward to enjoying my precise heat mixing bowl.

I love this bowl, I have used it several times to melt candy melts in and chocolate for dipping. I have used it to melt and heat dips as well, I'm looking forward to trying it to proof dough as well.

This is a foolproof way to temper your chocolate. It does the job well but be patient as it does take time to heat the chocolate and cool it down. Give yourself some time as it's not a five minute process. There was no guesswork about the temperature, all I had to do is listen for the beeps and stir the chocolate. Make sure you chop your chocolate into small pieces and that will help speed the process up.
