There are only a few things I dont like about this stove; the burner grates are very slipery, the lowest setting on the burners is too hot, and there was only one rack in the oven.

Nice stove for a basic one. Miss not having a clock or timer. And... When in the heck did manufactures quit including a broiler pan with a stove?? Have a broiler that I haven't been able to use!!

I'm worried that the broiler is going to stop working as I have friends who have this range and the broiler sometimes arbitrarily does not turn on. This range is MUCH better however, than the lower priced Amana range I bought last October. That broiler, a separate unit below the oven, did not produce sufficient heat to broil. The oven itself reached a temperature higher than the so-called broiler. Gormsen's Appliances finally replaced the defective range with this one, after months of Amana insisting the range was working correctly. Here's hoping this appliance continues to work!

As people say you get what you pay. One thing is that the whole stove gets hot when you use the oven this is not good for people who have younger children.
